Options for Coffee Freshness
There are many options you can choose when buying a VFFS coffee packaging systems as per your actual requirement. Most case customers required is Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), that is one of standard in many industries.the main purpose is to preserve freshness and extend shelf life. There are two ways to realize the MAP result
MAP can be done by attaching one-way valves to the film during the packaging process. In this way it will make the built-up carbon dioxide escaping the package and stop the oxygen coming inside. The other MAP option is flushing the bag out with nitrogen gas prior to filling to displace oxygen.
Options for coffee packaging machine pulling belt
Normally, VFFS machines are using the friction type pull belts for belt filling, easy to understand ,by friction between the belt and filmrolls to grip and transport the film through the system.
However, when dealing with a dusty or oily product like coffee, mostly it can impede the gripping process and decrease the lifespan of the belts. In this regard, vacuum pull belts, which use vacuum suction to grip the film for transport, are often recommended for coffee applications. Particulates will not impede film transport or cause undue belt wear when using vacuum suction.
